ARTWORK FILE FORMATS
Check if your artwork images are:
- In the correct FILE FORMAT
- At the correct PRINT SIZE
- Accurate and TRUE-TO-COLOUR
We use industry-standard software, such as CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop among others. Preferred file types are vector-based files from Corel or Illustrator software (.ai or .eps). We can also accept high-resolution .pdf and .cdr files. Additional charges may apply if you do not have vector-ready images.
ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR (All versions up to CS5)
Save as native vector (.ai or .eps) file OR as a print-ready (.pdf) file. Fonts should be converted to outlines. Artwork made in newer versions of Illustrator will need to be saved for CS5 format.
CORELDRAW (All versions up to X7)
Save as native vector (.cdr) file. Fonts should be converted to curves or outlines.
ADOBE PHOTOSHOP (All versions up to CS5)
Save as native (.psd or .tif) file. Ensure photos are at 300dpi at 100% print size. Ensure line art is at 300dpi or higher. Do not flatten layers, as they are helpful when readying the designs for printing. Fonts should be rasterized. (.psd) files may require vectorising to make them print-ready.
