FAQs

How does screen print pricing work?

Estimates for screen printing are based on 4 main specifics;

-What format artwork is supplied.

-Number of print colours in your logo/design.

-Print size on the garment/product.

-Quantity required

Do you have minimums?

Yes, we do for printed and embroidered.

Printed – 10 items minimum

Embroidered – 10 items minimum

Do I get a mockup or proof to view?

Yes, once you’ve approved your estimate and we have print ready artwork.  Then we can go ahead and create your mockup. This is then emailed to you for approval.  Nothing happens with regards to printing without your approval.

How long does a print job take?

Depending on the current schedule of jobs booked in, this can vary. But usually 7-10 working days.  Please advise your need by date when requesting a quote.  Our ETA is from the time approval  is received on both estimate and mock up and a 50% deposit has been received.

What are your payment options?

You can pay via bank transfer, debit card (not credit card) at the studio, or via an online link for credit cards. We’re unable to split the credit card link into a 50% deposit however. So if you wish to pay via credit card, you need to pay the entire invoice in full.  There is also a 3.5% surcharge added for credit card payments.

What about if I have something I want printed, but it’s a bit unusual?

Please get in contact and we’ll see if we can help!

Can I supply my own garments?

Yes, you’re welcome to, however you need to be aware, if garments supplied haven’t come from a recommended supplier; we can’t guarantee how the fabric will react to printing. Make sure you ask us about our excellent wholesale rates, that we can pass onto you if you require are to supply.  All supplied garments are printed on an ‘all care and no responsibility’ basis.

Can you match my logo or brand colours?

Yes we can. We use Pantone Matching System (PMS) , you just need to advise us the Pantone C colour code and we can colour match. There is a fee involved per colour match.  Click here to see Pantone C colour choices. Please be aware that colours depicted on screens and various devices can be inaccurate.

What format does the artwork have to be in?

We require the artwork to be Print Ready.  This means the files have to be outlined and vectorised, .ai , .eps , .psd  format only.   We can work with other file types such as ,jpg, psd, or .png, but this will likely result in an artwork fee being applied.

We do not require Print Ready artwork in order to provide a quote.

Can you print something urgently?

Depending on our current schedule, we may be able to do an urgent print run for you. There is a rush rate applied for 24-48hr turn around.

Are the screens mine once I’ve paid for artwork set up?

No sorry, the screens stay here for future reorders or are cleaned down and recycled. You pay for the service of creating the screens, not the screen itself.
